Last Beach Clean-up 2023!

As the year 2023 ends, we celebrate the successful efforts towards Marereni clean-up which was graced by the fisheries officer incharge of Marereni BMUs and one ranger from Malindi KWS.

In effort to enhance our take home message regarding use of Plastics, Sacs and gloves used during the clean-up were retained for re-use in future. 
The overall trash weight collected was 352kgs.

Through this event, our collaboration and partnships were strengthened. Kinyaule Youth Conservancy helped in mobilising other community groups likeMarereni women group. Some of the feedback from this event included urge for more events and collaboration as well inherent reminder that  the Mangrove seedlings in some local community groups nurseries have overgrown. This was an indirect call for conducting mangrove replanting session which we reschedule for erly next year. 

Together we get to make the waves of change!!!
